“för all del”

Ha många järn i elden

To be busy with many projects at once.

Den som väntar på något gott väntar aldrig för länge

Good things are worth waiting for.

Ha tummen mitt i handen

To be clumsy or bad at practical things.

hålla god min

to keep a brave face

på tapeten

on the agenda, being talked about

inte min kopp te

not my cup of tea

ont om tid

short of time

det är ingen idé

there is no point
